Wondereur presents Tanja Rector through the lens of Jason Redmond. Appearing on Wondereur October 26th – November 30th.
It’s not often that Holland and California have something in common. Someone with roots in both places, however, is Dutch-American artist Tanja Rector, who moved to Santa Monica 25 years ago. Inspired by her love of architecture and design, Tanja creates paintings and sculptures that play with the ideas of materiality, space, and perspective. The busy artist also has connections to Hollywood: she recently founded a company that specializes in creating artworks for films that mirror the style of historical artists. So the next time you see a “Mark Rothko” painting in a movie, look closely… It could be Tanja Rector’s art playing a role of its own.
Tanja’s story is featured on Wondereur from October 26th – November 30th. For this limited time, our readers will have exclusive access to a selection of tanja's paintings available for purchase directly through the Wondereur Storefront.
Tanja Rector was recommended for Wondereur by Patrick Delanty.
